Last year at the Osoyoos Celebrity Wine Festival, a couple bid on the auction item to have dinner with Chef Michael Lyon. The money raised went to support the children of the South Okanagan namely: The Desert Sun Counseling & Resource Centre, the Osoyoos Child Care Centre and the Osoyoos Desert Center Society.

Last week, June 14, I joined Chef Michael Lyon and Olympian Kristi Richards, along with the wine maker, Graham Pierce, of Black Hills Winery. The dinner was fabulous, the company was amazing and fun and the evening was spectacular all around. Along with some Alibi, Viognier and Nota Bene wine, we enjoyed some organic tea. To start, I served some MOTEAS Hibiscus Berry Breeze and to end the evening, everyone enjoyed some MOTEAS Masala Chai. The chai tea went wonderfully along side the chocolate soufflé.

What a great evening, I am glad I was able to be a part of it.
